Client C: Online mindset coaching

How I engineered this online mindset coaching business to sell itself, by mapping every touchpoint to 8 psychological friction points.

Proves: Trust Signals . Journey Psychology . Emotional Resonance

  • Every touchpoint (website copy, email, social, ads, sales funnel) built around the same 8 friction points

  • 100 leads a month, consistently, before launch

  • 5 high-ticket clients signed the day the business went live

  • Still generates consistent leads today, without the business being actively run

The situation

I was approached by a talented mindset coach who wanted to create a marketing strategy that would help her to get high-quality leads quickly.

Together, our aim was to apply the full 8-point behavioural friction framework to every part of the marketing, not just the content.

The strategy

Before writing a single word of copy, I mapped business’s entire marketing against all 8 behavioural friction points: Consumer Understanding, Emotional Resonance, Trust Signals, Behavioural Friction, Decision Simplicity, Identity Alignment, Cognitive Load, and Journey Psychology.

Every touchpoint, website copy, email sends, social content, ads, and the sales funnel, was built to remove a specific friction point, not just to look good.

The biggest barrier I identified wasn't awareness or content. It was trust. There was, and still is, a trust recession around online coaching: years of overpromising 'Instagram coaches' had left potential clients skeptical before they even landed on a page.

That skepticism, not lack of interest, was the real reason most coaches struggled to convert. I addressed it directly: messaging, social content, and landing page copy engineered to build subconscious safety, not just list credentials, so trust was resolved before a prospect ever booked a call.

I also applied Journey Psychology to build a lead generation strategy that was consistent and reliable, not 'post and pray'.

Rather than depending on daily content and algorithm mood, I built an evergreen system, anchored in Pinterest search, that met people at the exact moment they were already looking for a solution, searching things like how to rewire limiting beliefs, how to stop overthinking, and how to get your life together.

The result

Because trust and friction were resolved before anyone spoke to me, selling high-ticket coaching stopped requiring persuasion.

Leads arrived already thinking, 'yes, this is what I need,' which removed the hustle entirely from building and scaling the business. It generated 100 leads a month before launch, signed 5 clients the day the business went live, and the same strategy is still generating consistent leads today.

The behavioural principle

This is the clearest, most complete proof of the Well Found framework, because it's the only case study where all 8 friction points were applied end-to-end, across every channel, not just one part of the funnel.

Removing subconscious skepticism through Trust Signals, and meeting buyers at the right moment through Journey Psychology, is what turned marketing from something I had to hustle at into a system that sold on its own.
